Frequently asked questions
Is sorting case-sensitive?
No. Lines are compared case-insensitively, so "Apple" and "apple" sort next to each other rather than in separate blocks.
Does sorting remove duplicate or blank lines?
No. The sorter only reorders lines; use the dedicated Remove Duplicate Lines or Remove Empty Lines tools if you also need to clean the list.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Sorting happens locally in your browser.
